Jujutsu, Aikido, Judo, Karate, Kobuto, Battojutsu



Jujutsu
Is a close combat martial art. It is he practice of flexibility, pliable and adaptable for a variety of systems of fighting while unarmed or minimally armed; the ancient precursor to Karate, Judo and Aikido.

Throwing, hitting, kicking, stabbing, slashing, choking bending and twisting limbs, pinning an opponent and the defense against these attacks.

Shichidan Posada studied with grandmaster Moses Powell.
The curriculum stresses street effectiveness “As a Fort Pierce police officer, I use the techniques from Mr. Posada‘s jujutsu class quite often, they work“

Aikido
This gentle art of self-defense uses your opponents moves to control them. Learn this peaceful art uses body movements, joint locks and throws. Aikido traces its origins to Daito ryu-Aikijutsu


Judo
The principles of yielding and giving. Learn body movement, joint locks and throwing. This precursor to Brazilian jujutsu came from the art of Kito Ryu Tenshin –Shinyo ryu Jujutsu

Karate
The martial art of kicking and punching and the defenses against these attacks. Much of what came from jujutsu is within the katas; a set of moments used to review your moves.



Kobudo
Weapons art from the Okinawa developed from farming tools. The Sai, Bo and Ninchaku. This will be a part of your training.

Battojutsu
The art of drawing and returning the sword as well as the art of cutting with the Japanese sword Toyama Ryu  and the style used by Japan’s military academies. This sword art of Japan will help relieve your stress, for it is a moving art of meditation.
